History

A well-known gay destination in the 70s and 80s was 'falling asleep' for many years. After some positive political developement, the local gay community decided to get back to the roots, stay to tegether and promote Torremolinos as an absolute gay hot spot .

40+ gay bars and nightclubs, a gay beach, numerous gay owned and gay friendly restaurants, a huge gay sauna and several cruising options and hundreds of nice and very friendly local gays make you enjoy your vacation.

Stay

Most of the hotels and guesthouses are very gay friendly and, with the opening of Hotel Ritual in 2017, Torremolinos has the biggest LGBT hotel in Europe with more than 180 rooms.
